Lavender Berry Fizz
Kombucha is all the rage, and we’re partial to our lovely neighbors here in Boulder, Colorado, Rowdy Mermaid Kombucha. The Alpine Lavender flavor marries nicely with our Organic Berry Power. A match made in berry heaven.
Makes 2 servings
1 bottle of Rowdy Mermaid Kombucha – Alpine Lavender flavor
2 tsp Organic Berry Power powder
Fresh rosemary (for garnish)
Add Organic Berry Power™ to kombucha and stir. Pour mixture over ice, add a sprig of rosemary and enjoy!
Pomagranate Berry Overnight Oats
Overnight oats are a busy person’s secret to a healthy, fiber-rich breakfast. This get-up-and-go breakfast combines fiber (oats), antioxidants (Organic Berry Power and pomegranate), and probiotics (from yogurt) for a meal that will fuel your day.
Soaking the oats overnight gives them a lovely texture and makes them easier to digest.
Makes 1 serving
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
1 tsp Organic Berry Power powder
1-2 tsp raw honey (or to taste)
1/2 cup Greek yogurt or coconut milk yogurt
Toppings: fresh berries, granola, nuts, seeds, coconut flakes
Add all ingredients, except yogurt and toppings, to a mason jar and stir. Layer yogurt and toppings, refrigerate overnight. Stir right before enjoying this delicious breakfast.
Tropical Berry Smoothie
Smoothies are one of the simplest ways to enjoy Organic Berry Power. Blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries are common smoothie ingredients. Why not elevate it with aronia, acerola, black currant, and some of the more exotic, nutrient-dense super berries that are harder to come by. The kids will love this one (nix the ginger if they are sensitive). Just throw everything into your blender for an antioxidant explosion.
Makes 1 serving
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
1 tsp Organic Berry Power powder
1 tbsp raw honey
1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 tbsp chia seeds
Add all ingredients into a blender, blend until smooth.
If the consistency is too thick, thin with water or more almond milk. Serve immediately – enjoy!
