- Hi, would it be ok for kids to take this?
- Generally speaking, we have not specifically formulated our products for children. However, many of our products are made with simple whole-food ingredients that would not likely pose a problem. We do have plenty of customers who choose to share some of our products with their children, but we advise that you speak with your healthcare provider to determine what is right for your family.
- Can I mix this with the berry powder?
- Yes! Pure Synergy Original Superfood and Berry Power can be mixed together.
- Hi, Can this product be heated or used in a baked or cooked recipe (e.g., cake, pancake)? Thank you.
- We would suggest avoiding adding the powder while cooking as it may cause a loss of nutritional value in temperatures exceeding 125-130 degrees F.
- Is it ok to mix this superfood powder in boiling water?
- Boiling water should be avoided. Warm or hot water is best to preserve delicate nutrients.
- Can you take while breastfeeding?
- Pure Synergy is a blend of superfood and herbal concentrates for optimal well-being. In formulating Pure Synergy, we intentionally selected herbs in concentrations that would gently support our bodies safely yet effectively. That being said, as noted before, there is a lot of controversy regarding the use of herbs during pregnancy—even herbal experts and medical references can’t come to a consensus! The bottom line is that there is a very short list of herbs that are definitely unsafe and these are rarely used in any sort of product on the market today (and definitely NOT found in any of our products!). The remainder of herbs falls into various classes ranging from “safe” to “mostly safe in moderate concentration”, etc. Although many herbs have been used safely for hundreds of years by pregnant and nursing women, the majority of those herbs have simply not been thoroughly evaluated in clinical studies for safety during this important phase in a woman's life. We suggest you consult with a qualified expert in herbal medicine in deciding whether a product is right for you.
