The Synergy Company Is Climate Label Certified

We keep sustainability at the heart of everything we do, because the prosperity of our planet depends on it.

Supplements that are good for you, and good for the planet.

We’re in the business of making a better world. So, we’re proud to be certified under The Climate Label, a global standard recognizing brands who commit to lowering their carbon emissions and take measurable action to do so.

MEASURE – Each year, we measure our “cradle-to-grave” greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from sourcing, making, and delivering our supplements, plus emissions tied to business operations, like fuel and electricity needs.

FUND – By partnering with The Change Climate Project, we created an annual Climate Transition Budget (CTB) to fund projects that will cut emissions across our supply chain and operations.

REDUCE – Over the next 12-24 months, we’ll use our CTB for initiatives focused on reducing emissions tied to our ingredients, packaging, shipping, and internal operations.

ADVOCATE – Collective climate action is critical for systemic change. We partner with the Sustainable Herb Initiative, Climate Collective, Organic Trade Association, and more to engage in climate lobbying and literacy.

What we’re focused on:

– Investing in renewable energy
– Improving energy efficiency in our facilities
– Reducing environmental impacts of packaging
– Operating as a zero-waste facility
– Lowering our supply chain carbon footprint

Our commitment: To cut emissions by 63% by 2035

It’s ambitious, and that’s the point. Science-based targets show we need to limit global warming to 1.5° Celsius or less. By aligning emission-reduction efforts with this target, we aim to cut our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 63% by 2035.

And we’re on our way:

Looking back to 2020, there have been some fluctuations as we’ve scaled our business, but you can’t improve what you don’t measure. With long-term goals, we’re focused on multi-year trends.

Now more than ever, we have the kind of visibility necessary to make meaningful changes and hit our reduction targets – something that over the past few years, has already taken effect.
