Lavender Flower Oil Extract

Coveted for their clean, floral aroma, lavender flowers have been used for centuries in baths, on the skin, for baking, as aromatherapy, and more. There’s no doubt these purple beauties are one of the most popular flowers in the world. Yet lavender has incredible benefit beyond its alluring scent and abundant topical usages. Lavender has been the subject of multiple studies on mood for its calming and uplifting nature. It has also been shown to support restful sleep.

Lavender oil in concentrated supplement form is a relatively new offering. Most lavender dietary supplements contain steam distilled oils, are non-organic, and are lacking standardization, which may affect consistency from batch to batch.  Steam distillation is the most common technique when it comes to creating essential oils. Unfortunately, certain critical compounds can be lost through evaporation; others can be hydrolyzed under the stress of distillation.  We have innovated a new concentrated certified organic lavender oil ingredient made through supercritical CO2 extraction.   We source only the finest certified organic Lavendula angustifolia (English Lavender) from Bulgaria and France. The flowers then undergo a powerful supercritical extraction without the use of harmful solvents to isolate the beneficial compounds nestled inside.
