St. Paddy’s Day Green Cuisine


St. Patrick’s Day is one of those fun festivals that puts a lot of emphasis on food and beverages. Specifically, green food and beverages. It’s the one day of the year you see green bagels, bread, cookies, cake, beer, and pretty much all other drinks. Want to get in on the emerald exuberance, but not so much the alcohol or empty calories? Here are some festive recipes that’ll let you celebrate the Irish spirit with some deliciously green and healthful fare.


2 bananas
2 eggs
½ cup oats
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
2 tsp Wheatgrass Juice Powder (or other Pure Synergy® green Superfood powder of choice)
Coconut oil (for oiling skillet)

Spread coconut oil on the skillet and heat. Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Pour directly from blender right into hot oiled skillet.


2 cucumbers, peeled and chopped
2 cups green grapes
3 kiwi fruit, peeled
1 bunch fresh mint
Juice of 2 limes
1 cup water
2 tsp Organic Barley Grass Juice Powder (or other Pure Synergy® green Superfood powder of choice)

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Serve the refreshing green mocktail immediately and enjoy!


1 large head cauliflower
1 tbsp avocado oil
1 cup diced onion
3 cloves minced garlic
1½ avocado
1 minced jalapeño
½ cup chopped cilantro
1 tbsp Organic Pure Synergy Superfood (or other Pure Synergy® green Superfood powder of choice)
2 tbsp lime juice
salt and pepper to taste

Pulse cauliflower florets in food processor until it’s riced. Heat large pan over medium heat and add avocado oil. Once hot, add diced onions and sauté until translucent. Add garlic and cook another minute. Add cauliflower rice, cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, until softened.

While the rice cooks, add avocados to a bowl and mash with a fork. Mix in jalapeño, lime juice, Superfood powder, salt and pepper. Mix in avocado mixture to cauliflower rice and stir in cilantro. Enjoy the delicious green cuisine!
