Q&A

There are darker specs in the powder. Is that normal?
The black specks you are seeing in the Pure Radiance C are normal. They are small bits and pieces of fruits and berries (black pepper berry extract) that are blended into the product.
Can you clarify the amount of Vitamin C per 1/4 tsp serving? Is it 180mg of Vitamin C or 975mg per serving?
The 975mg is the overall physical weight of a serving. 180 mg of that 975mg is Vitamin C. The other 795mg are other nutrients like bioflavonoids phytonutrients fibers, etc. Pure Radiance C is not a synthetic/isolated vitamin C. This Vitamin C is naturally derived from fruits and berries. This means the vitamin C is bound in a matrix of other polyphenols, antioxidants, etc.—just like in food because it is food! Only it’s in a highly concentrated form that maximizes vitamin C content. We rely on this natural food matrix to support optimal absorption, bioavailability, and efficacy in the body. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Can a 9 years old take it?
Yes this product would be okay for children. Please be aware that the listed recommended serving size and suggested use for our products is for an adult. We are unable to provide specific suggestions in regards to serving sizes for children as needs vary among children of different ages and weights. Ultimately, it will be up to you (and the recommendation of your healthcare provider) as to what to give your child. One suggested tool for determining a proper pediatric serving size in children ages 2-17 is called Clark’s Rule. It is a calculation that uses your child’s weight and the adult serving size to come up with a suggested amount.
